In this three part series, Dr. Jera Tolliver-Scott, an expert in the field of sexual intimacy for people with multiple sclerosis, who isn’t afraid to tackle this tricky subject. With years of research and studying, she’s compiled data from patients about common sexual dysfunction problems, like vaginal lubricants, physical pain, vaginal pain, erectile dysfunction, and communication when it comes to sex.
Being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2014, she has a unique understanding of the challenges that MS patients face. While still teaching, she also uses therapeutic approaches, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, to help meet her client’s specific needs.
As an MS advocate, an expert in sexual intimacy for people with ms, she brings her experience and knowledge to the Move It or Lose It Podcasters.
